For current & former drivers
Freight Broker Training Built for Truck Drivers
You already understand lanes, rates, detention, and how carriers actually operate. This course turns that hard-won road experience into a licensed, home-based freight brokerage — without a CDL renewal or another mile behind the wheel.
- Maps your existing carrier knowledge to broker skills
- Get your FMCSA broker authority and BMC-84 bond
- Start part-time while you're still driving
- Scripts to land your first shipper accounts
One-time $49 · Lifetime access · Built by a licensed, FMCSA-authorized broker
Your road experience is an advantage most new brokers will never have
Most people entering brokering have never sat in a truck. They learn what detention is from a slide. You've lived it. The gap between you and a working brokerage isn't freight knowledge — it's authority, compliance, and shipper sales. This training focuses on exactly that.
You know the operations side
Appointment windows, dwell time, reefer setpoints, and deadhead math already make sense to you. We build on that instead of starting from zero.
You're missing the paperwork
Broker authority, the $75K BMC-84 bond, BOC-3, and contracts are a different animal from an MC for a truck. We walk each one step by step.
You've never sold to shippers
Booking loads off a board is not the same as winning a shipper account. You get scripts, objection handling, and a first-account plan.

Straight answers for drivers
"Do I have to quit driving to start?"
No. Many drivers build the brokerage on their days off and off-hours, then transition once they have steady accounts. The course includes a part-time startup path.
"I have an MC for my truck — is that enough?"
No. Motor carrier authority and broker authority are separate registrations with different bonds and rules. The course covers filing for broker authority specifically.
"I've never done sales in my life."
That's the point of the scripts, objection handlers, and the cold-call simulator — you practice the exact conversations before you ever pick up the phone.
Truck driver to freight broker: common questions
Can a truck driver become a freight broker?
Yes. Your freight and carrier experience is a real advantage. You still need to obtain broker authority from the FMCSA, secure a $75,000 BMC-84 bond, and learn shipper sales — all of which this course covers.
Do I need a CDL to be a freight broker?
No. Brokering is arranging freight, not driving it. A CDL is not required for broker authority. If you have one, you simply understand the operations better than most.
How long does it take to transition?
Authority processing typically takes a few weeks after filing. Many drivers work through the training and shipper outreach in parallel so they're ready to book loads as soon as authority is active.
How much does the course cost?
A one-time $49 with lifetime access. There is no subscription. Your separate FMCSA filing fee and bond premium are paid to those providers, not to us.
